Psalm 98:1-4
Leader: Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things!
All: His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
Leader: The LORD has made known his salvation;
All: he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
Leader: He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
All: Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell.* The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
