Call to Worship - Exodus 6:6-8

LEADER:  Say therefore to the people of Israel,
ALL:  “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.  I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.  I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession.  I am the Lord.”

Praise the Lord Ye Heavens
Young Oceans, Harvest

Praise the Lord Ye heavens adore him
Praise him angels in the height
Sun and moon, rejoice before him
Praise him, all ye stars of light

Praise the Lord for he hath spoken
Worlds his mighty voice obeyed
Laws which never shall be broken
For their guidance he hath made

CHORUS:
All creation join the song of praise
Let every tongue declare His mighty ways
And we will sing of Your goodness and mercy all of our days

Praise the Lord for he is glorious
Never shall his promise fail
God hath made his saints victorious
Sin and death shall not prevail (CHORUS)

Glory! Glory! All glory to You Lord!

Praise the God of our salvation
Hosts on high, his power proclaim
Heaven and earth, and all creation
Laud and magnify his Name (CHORUS)

Jesus, Your Mercy
Songwriter(s): Bob Kauflin, Jordan Kauflin, Nathan Stiff

Jesus, Your mercy is all my plea
I have no defense, my guilt runs too deep
The best of my works pierced Your hands and Your feet
Jesus, Your mercy is all my plea

Jesus, Your mercy is all my boast
The goodness I claim, the grounds of my hope
Whatever I lack it’s still what I need most
Jesus, Your mercy is all my boast

CHORUS:
Praise the King who bore my sin
Took my place when I stood condemned
Oh how good You’ve always been to me
I will sing of Your mercy

Jesus, Your mercy is all my rest
When fears weigh me down and enemies press
A comfort I cling to in life and in death
Jesus Your mercy is all my rest

Jesus, your mercy is all my joy
Forever I’ll lift my heart and my voice
To sing of a treasure no pow’r can destroy
Jesus, your mercy is all my joy

Confession of Sin - Isaiah 28:14-15

LEADER:  Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers, who rule this people in Jerusalem!  Because you have said,
ALL:  “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement, when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter.”

Silent Prayers

Assurance of Forgiveness - Psalm 118:1-9

ALL:Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
LEADER:  Let Israel say,
ALL:  “His steadfast love endures forever.”
LEADER:  Let the house of Aaron say,
ALL:  “His steadfast love endures forever.”
LEADER:  Let those who fear the Lord say,
ALL:  “His steadfast love endures forever.”
LEADER:  Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.
ALL:  The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
LEADER:  The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
ALL:  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

Only A Holy God
by Michael Farren, Jonny Robinson, Dustin Smith, Rich Thompson

Who else commands all the hosts of heaven
Who else could make every king bow down
Who else can whisper and darkness trembles
Only a Holy God

What other beauty demands such praises
What other splendour outshines the sun
What other majesty rules with justice
Only a Holy God

CHORUS:
Come and behold Him, the One and the Only
Cry out, sing holy; Forever a Holy God
Come and worship the Holy God
Come and worship the Holy God

What other glory consumes like fire
What other power can raise the dead
What other name remains undefeated
Only a Holy God

Who else could rescue me from my failing
Who else would offer His only Son
Who else invites me to call Him Father
Only a Holy God
Only my Holy God

Sermon Passage - 1 Peter 2:1-10 (ESV)

2:1  So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander.  2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation-  3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,  5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.  6 For it stands in Scripture: "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."  7 So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,"  8 and "A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense." They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.  10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

LEADER:  All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass.  The grass withers, and the flower falls...
ALL:  ...but the word of the Lord remains forever.  (1 Peter 1:24-25)

On Christ The Solid Rock
By Edward Mote (1834)

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
but wholly lean on Jesus' name

CHORUS:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

When darkness veils His lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace
in every high and stormy gale
my anchor holds within the veil

His oath, His covenant, His blood
support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay

When He shall come with trumpet sound
O may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
faultless to stand before the throne  (Chorus)

The Lord’s Prayer
Arrangement: Matt Maher

Father, let Your Kingdom come, Father, let Your will be done
On Earth as in Heaven right here in my heart
Father, let Your Kingdom come, Father, let Your will be done
On Earth as in Heaven right here in my heart

Give us this day, our daily bread; Forgive us, forgive us
As we forgive the ones who sin against us, forgive them
And lead us not into temptation, but deliv - er us from the еvil one
Let Your Kingdom come

It's Yours, it's Yours, all Yours, all Yours
The Kingdom, the power, the glory are Yours
It's Yours, it's Yours, all Yours, all Yours
Forever and ever, the Kingdom is Yours
It's Yours (It's Yours), it's Yours (It's Yours)
All Yours (All Yours), all Yours (All Yours)
The Kingdom (The Kingdom), the power (The power), the glory are Yours
It's Yours (It's Yours), it's Yours (It's Yours)
All Yours (All Yours), all Yours (All Yours)
Forever (Forever) and ever (And ever), the Kingdom is Yours
