Call to Worship
Hebrews 4:14-16
Leader: Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God,
All: let us hold fast our confession.
Leader: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses,
All: but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Leader: Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace,
All: that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
King of Love (Psalm 23)
Henry Williams Baker. arr. I Am They.
The King of love my Shepherd is whose goodness faileth never
I nothing lack if I am His and He is mine forever, and He is mine forever
Where streams of living water flow my ransomed soul He leadeth
And where the verdant pastures grow with food celestial feedeth
CHORUS:
Never failing ruler of my heart
Everlasting lover of my soul
On the mountain high or in the valley low
The King of love my Shepherd is
The King of love my Shepherd is
Lost and foolish oft I strayed but yet in love He sought me
And on His shoulder gently laid and home, rejoicing, brought me
In death's dark vale I fear no ill with Thee, dear Lord, beside me
Thy rod and staff my comfort still, Thy cross before to guide me
BRIDGE:
Oh——— Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Oh——— Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And so through all the length of days, Thy goodness faileth never
Good Shepherd, may I sing Your praise within Your house forever.
Within Your house forever
Whatever My God Ordains Is Right
Sovereign Grace Music, Bob Kauflin
Whate'er my God ordains is right; His holy will abideth
I will be still, whate'er He does; And follow where He guideth
He is my God, though dark my road; He holds me that I shall not fall
And so to Him I leave it all; And so to Him I leave it all
Whate'er my God ordains is right; He never will deceive me
He leads me by the proper path; I know He will not leave me
I take, content, what He hath sent; His hand can turn my griefs away
And patiently I wait His day; And patiently I wait His day
Whate'er my God ordains is right; Though now this cup, in drinking
May bitter seem to my faint heart; I take it, all unshrinking
My God is true, each morn anew; Sweet comfort yet shall fill my heart
And pain and sorrow shall depart; And pain and sorrow shall depart
Whate'er my God ordains is right; Here shall my stand be taken
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine; Yet am I not forsaken
My Father's care is ‘round me there; He holds me that I shall not fall
And so to Him I leave it all; And so to Him I leave it all
Confession of Sin
Titus 3:1-3
Leader: Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
All: For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.
Silent Prayers of Confession
Assurance of Forgiveness
Titus 3:4-7
Leader: But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,
ALL: he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Sermon Passage
Psalm 139
1 TO THE CHOIRMASTER. A PSALM OF DAVID.
O LORD, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night," 12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there were none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.
19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me! 20 They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain! 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you? 22 I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
Leader: The grass withers, the flower fades,
All: ...but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

Before the throne of God above,
I have a strong, a perfect plea:
A great High Priest, whose name is Love,
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on his hands,
my name is written on his heart;
I know that while in heaven he stands
no tongue can bid me thence depart.
When Satan tempts me to despair,
and tells me of the guilt within,
upward I look, and see him there
Who made an end of all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died,
my sinful soul is counted free;
For God, the Just, is satisfied
to look on him and pardon me.
Behold him there, the risen Lamb!
My perfect, spotless Righteousness,
The great unchangeable I AM,
the King of glory and of grace!
One with Himself, I cannot die;
My soul is purchased by his blood;
My life is hid with Christ on high,
with Christ, my Savior and my God.

Kids: and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5)
All My Ways Are Known to You
CityAlight
In days of peace and days of rest
In times of loss and loneliness
Though rich or poor, Your word is true
That all my ways are known to You
No trial has come beyond Your hand
No step I walk beyond Your plan
The path is dark outside my view
Still all my ways are known to You
CHORUS:
And oh what peace that I have found wherever I may be
For all my ways are known to You Hallelujah, they are known to You!
I do not fear the final night
For death will be the door to life
You take my hand and lead me through
For all my ways are known to You
BRIDGE:
Open up my eyes so I may see
That You have made these ways for me
Open up my eyes so I may see
That You my God, will walk with me
Benediction
