Call to Worship
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Leader: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
All: You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
Leader: And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
All: You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Leader: You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
All: You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Prayer of Adoration and Invocation
All Praise To Him
Sovereign Grace Music
All praise to Him, the God of light
Who formed the mountains by His might
All praise to Him Who names the stars
That sing His fame in skies afar
All praise to Him Who reigns in love
Who guides the galaxies above
Yet bends to hear our every prayer
With sovereign pow'r and tender care
All praise to Him whose love is seen
In Christ the Son, the Servant King
Who left behind His glorious throne
To pay the ransom for His own
All praise to Him Who humbly came
To bear our sorrow, sin, and shame
Who lived to die, Who died to rise
The all-sufficient sacrifice
All praise to Him whose pow'r imparts
The love of God within our hearts
The Spirit of all truth and peace
The fount of joy and holiness
[To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise (Repeat)
A Mighty Fortress
Words: Martin Luther, Music: Traditional German Tune
A mighty fortress is our God, A bulwark never failing
Our helper He, amid the flood, Of mortal ills prevailing
For still our ancient foe, Doth seek to work us woe
His craft and power are great, And armed with cruel hate
On earth is not his equal
Did we in our own strength confide, Our striving would be losing
Were not the right Man on our side, The Man of God's own choosing
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus; it is He
Lord Sabbaoth, His name, From age to age the same
And He must win the battle
And though this world, with devils filled, Should threaten to undo us
We will not fear, for God hath willed, His truth to triumph through us
The Prince of Darkness grim, We tremble not for him
His rage we can endure, For lo, his doom is sure
One little word shall fell him
That word above all earthly powers, No thanks to them, abideth
The Spirit and the gifts are ours, Through Him who with us sideth
Let goods and kindred go, This mortal life also
The body they may kill, God’s truth abideth still
His kingdom is forever
Confession of Sin
Exodus 20:2-17, Psalm 79:8-9
Leader: "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
All: "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Leader: "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
All: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Leader:"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
All: "You shall not murder.
"You shall not commit adultery.
"You shall not steal.
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Leader: "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."
Our Confession
† Silent Prayer of Confession
All: Do not remember against us our former iniquities; let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name's sake!
Assurance of Forgiveness
Colossians 2:13-14
Leader: And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
All: God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
Be Thou My Vision
Translated 1905 from the old Irish hymn “Bi Thusa ‘mo Shuile”
by Mary E. Byrne. Arr. Ascend the Hill, 2010.
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light
Be Thou my wisdom, Thou my true word
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord
Thou my great Father, and I Thy true son
Thou in me dwelling and I with Thee one
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and Thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art
BRIDGE:
Oh God, be my everything, be my delight
Be, Jesus, my glory, my soul satisfied
High King of heaven, my victory won
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's sun
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall
Still be my vision, O ruler of all
Still be my vision, O ruler of all

Is He Worthy?
Andrew Peterson
Do you feel the world is broken? (We do)
Do you feel the shadows deepen? (We do)
But do you know that all the dark won’t stop the light from getting through? (We do)
Do you wish that you could see it all made new? (We do)
Is all creation groaning? (It is)
Is a new creation coming? (It is)
Is the glory of the Lord to be the light within our midst? (It is)
Is it good that we remind ourselves of this? (It is)
CHORUS:
Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole?
Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?
The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave
He is David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave
Is He worthy? Is He worthy?
Of all blessing and honor and glory
Is He worthy of this? He is
Does the Father truly love us? (He does)
Does the Spirit move among us? (He does)
And does Jesus, our Messiah, hold forever those He loves? (He does)
Does our God intend to dwell again with us? (He does)
CHORUS:
Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole?
Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?
The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave
He is David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave
From every people and tribe, and every nation and tongue
He has made us a kingdom and priests to God to reign with the Son
Is He worthy? Is He worthy? Of all blessing and honor and glory
Is He worthy? Is He worthy? Is He worthy of this?
He is! He is! He is! He is! He is worthy! He is worthy!
Of all blessing and honor and glory
He is worthy of this. He is

Rise My Soul
CityAlight
Rise my soul the Lord is risen, Come behold the empty grave
See the place where darkness laid Him, Sing for only hope remains
Hallelujah, Praise forever, Death defeated and life restored
By that great immortal power, Christ is risen, arise my soul!
Rest my soul the Lord is risen, Love’s redeeming work is done
Now the Father sees His children, As He sees His Sinless Son
O the wonder, O the glory, That same favour is now my own
Shame behind me, grace before me, Christ is risen, arise my soul!
Peace my soul, the Lord is risen, Come and have your hope renewed
For this trial is brief and fleeting, Tears will turn to glory soon
Shout with joy and sound the triumph, Let the music of heaven roar
Let the boast of death be silent, Christ is risen, arise my soul!
Rise my soul for I am risen, Seated now with Christ my Lord
As my life belongs to heaven, Fear shall hold its sway no more
Onward, upward, t’ward the treasure, Filled with courage and endless hope
For this truth Is mine forever, Christ is risen arise my soul!
Benediction
† We invite you to stretch out your hands as you receive the Lord’s blessing.
