Call to Worship
Psalm 118:1-9
Leader: Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
All: for his steadfast love endures forever!
Leader: Let Israel say,
All: "His steadfast love endures forever."
Leader: Let the house of Aaron say,
All: "His steadfast love endures forever."
Leader: Let those who fear the LORD say,
All: "His steadfast love endures forever." Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
Leader: It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
All: It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
Prayer of Adoration and Invocation
Ancient of Days
By CityAlight
Though the nations rage, kingdoms rise and fall
There is still one King reigning over all
So I will not fear for this truth remains
That my God is, the Ancient of Days
CHORUS:
None above Him, none before Him
All of time in His hands
For His throne it shall remain and ever stand
All the power, all the glory
I will trust in His name
For my God is, the Ancient of Days
Though the dread of night overwhelms my soul
He is here with me, I am not alone
Oh, His love is sure, and He knows my name
For my God is the Ancient of Days (Chorus)
Though I may not see what the future brings
I will watch and wait for the Savior King
Then my joy complete, standing face to face
In the presence of the Ancient of Days (Chorus)
Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come (Isaiah 60:1-19)
By Jered McKenna; Cardiaphonia Music (2013)
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of God is on you
Arise, see when the earth grows dark
that the Lord will arise upon you
The Lord will arise upon you
CHORUS:
Nations will come to your light
Lift up your eyes and see
We’ll gather together and come to you
And your love will be all that we know
Your love will be all that we know
Arise, come to the open gates, for the Father is welcoming you
Fear not, for the Lord brings peace and redemption to all who believe
Redemption to all who believe
BRIDGE:
The sun will not shine ‘cause You’ll be all the light that we need
And violence will end; all the wars that we wage will cease
The sun will not shine ‘cause You’ll be all the light that we need
And violence will end; all the wars that we wage will cease
We will glorify Your Name, We will glorify Your Name
Confession of Sin
Psalm 118:14-21
All: The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
Leader:Glad songs of salvation are in the tents of the righteous:
All: "The right hand of the LORD does valiantly, the right hand of the LORD exalts, the right hand of the LORD does valiantly!"
Leader: I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the LORD.
All: The LORD has disciplined me severely, but he has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.
Leader: This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it.
All: I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.
Our Confession
† Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Forgiveness
Psalm 118:22-24, 1 Peter 2:4-10
Leader: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
All: This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
Leader: This is the day that the LORD has made;
All: let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Leader: As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
All: For it stands in Scripture: "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame." So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone," and "A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense." They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
Leader: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

When the sea is calm and all is right
When I feel Your favor flood my life
Even in the good, I'll follow You,
Even in the good, I'll follow You
When the boat is tossed upon the waves
When I wonder if You'll keep me safe
Even in the storms, I'll follow You,
Even in the storms, I'll follow You [Chorus]
CHORUS:
I believe everything that You say You are
I believe and I have seen Your unchanging heart
In the good things and in the hardest part
I believe and I will follow You,
I believe and I will follow You
When I see the wicked prospering
When I feel I have no voice to sing
Even in the want, I'll follow You,
Yes, even in the want, I'll follow You [Chorus]
When I find myself so far from home
And You lead me somewhere I don't wanna go
Even in my death, I'll follow You,
Even in my death, I'll follow You
When I come to end this race I've run
And I receive the prize that Christ has won
Yes, I will be with You in paradise,
Oh, I will be with You in paradise [Chorus]

Sermon Passage
Exodus 15:1-21
15:1 Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying,
“I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
2 The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The Lord is a man of war;
the Lord is his name.
4 “Pharaoh’s chariots and his host he cast into the sea,
and his chosen officers were sunk in the Red Sea.
5 The floods covered them;
they went down into the depths like a stone.
6 Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power,
your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.
7 In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries;
you send out your fury; it consumes them like stubble.
8 At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up;
the floods stood up in a heap;
the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’
10 You blew with your wind; the sea covered them;
they sank like lead in the mighty waters.
11 “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like you, majestic in holiness,
awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
12 You stretched out your right hand;
the earth swallowed them.
13 “You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed;
you have guided them by your strength to your holy abode.
14 The peoples have heard; they tremble;
pangs have seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Now are the chiefs of Edom dismayed;
trembling seizes the leaders of Moab;
all the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.
16 Terror and dread fall upon them;
because of the greatness of your arm, they are still as a stone,
till your people, O Lord, pass by,
till the people pass by whom you have purchased.
17 You will bring them in and plant them on your own mountain,
the place, O Lord, which you have made for your abode,
the sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established.
18 The Lord will reign forever and ever.”
19 For when the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, the Lord brought back the waters of the sea upon them, but the people of Israel walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea. 20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing. 21 And Miriam sang to them:
“Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.”
Leader: The grass withers, the flower fades,
All: but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

All Glory Be To Christ
By: Dustin Kensrue, Chadwick Gardner (2012)
Should nothing of our efforts stand, no legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house, in vain its builders strive
To you who boast tomorrow's gain, tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn; All glory be to Christ
CHORUS:
All glory be to Christ our King, All glory be to Christ
His rule and reign will ever sing, All glory be to Christ
His will be done, His kingdom come on earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread, praise Him the Lord of love
Let living water satisfy, the thirsty without price
We'll take a cup of kindness yet; All glory be to Christ (Chorus)
When on the day the great I Am, the faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain is making all things new
Behold our God shall live with us and be our steadfast light
And we shall ere His people be; all glory be to Christ (Chorus)

We Are Yours Forever
By: Keaton Bunting, Bob Kauflin, and David Zimmer (2024)
O God, when You spoke into darkness
And said, “Let there be,” and it was
You made us the crown of creation to share in Your love
And when we rejected Your goodness
To follow our foolish desires
You knew that one day You’d redeem us through one sacrifice
CHORUS:
Oh, what a love You have lavished on us
To call us Your children, daughters and sons
One with the Savior, bought by His blood. We are Yours forever
By grace You have made us Your family
We’re kept in Your kindness and care
With boldness we know we can bring You each burden we bear
And though we are longing to see You
Your Spirit within testifies
That we are adopted and treasured 'til faith becomes sight
BRIDGE:
What now can separate us from the hope You gave us
We will be like Christ our King we are Yours forever
