Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mike studied engineering at Purdue University and worked as a management consultant with Accenture for eight years. After his training at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, Mike and his wife Mandy moved to San Diego in 2009 and planted their first church. In the summer of 2021, Mike and his family moved to the south side of Indianapolis to extend the reach of the gospel to this growing community.

Mike and Mandy enjoy camping, hiking and rock climbing with their kids and friends, and a good pick-up game of soccer or basketball.  They both enjoy classic literature, compelling biographies, and just about any good story.  And they love living in Greenwood with their four kids: Olivia, Joseph, Greta and Henry, and dog Ridley.

Originally from Burbank, California, Chris grew up around the television and movie industry.  After going to school for character animation, Chris switched paths and began a career in ministry, taking him and his family from the Los Angeles area, to Tucson, Arizona, and now to the south side of Indianapolis, where he has lived with his family since 2014.

Chris met his wife, Erica, in high school at their home church.  They were married in 2003 and have four kids together. Erica is a teacher by trade, but she loves to use her gifts of teaching, service, and music to minister to people inside and outside of the church.
