Sundays at 10:30am

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Kids are included in the promises of God! At The Fields, we love kids and we want to help parents to grow their kids in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ, our great King!

Pre-Register Your Kids

Planning to visit The Fields this weekend?
Save time on Sunday by registering your kids online before you arrive!

What To Expect

Infants through Pre-School

All kids from birth through Preschool are welcome to worship in the service with their church family for the first 30 minutes of the worship service. At that point in the service, these kids are dismissed to their classes where they will engage in age-appropriate lessons that typically connect with the sermon for the morning.

Kindergarten and Older

Kids in Kindergarten and older are invited to participate in the entire worship service. This teaches them more about worship and prepares them for being an adult in the church.

To Parents...

As a parent, you may find the way we run Kids Ministry a little different than what you might be used to, and it may feel a little intimidating. We believe that kids are an important part of the church, not a distraction. The sound of children in the church is the sound of Jesus keeping His promises to us. As you consider this philosophy of Kids Ministry, may we offer a few helpful suggestions:

  • SIT UP FRONT!
Feel free to sit toward the front where it is easier for your kids to see and hear what's going on. Just like you, they don't like staring at the backs of people's heads.

  • BE AN EXAMPLE!
Encourage them to sing with you and participate in prayer and readings. Your kids will learn how to worship by watching you.

  • LEAD THEM!
During the service, when appropriate, quietly explain the parts of the service and what's going on in the room.

  • BE FREE TO MOVE!
If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so. But please come back! Your kid is not a disruption, but part of the church and welcome.

  • STICK WITH IT!
God made kids with energy that sometimes causes them to wiggle and make noise. That's okay! They belong right here with God's people where you have so faithfully brought them.

F.A.Q

Here is some more info on how we run Kids Ministry at The Fields each Sunday morning.

What will my kids be learning?

The gospel is for kids too! Our need for Jesus is not limited by how young we are, but kids also need the security of the unfailing love of God. Each week, kids will be taught age-appropriate lessons from the Bible that typically coincide with the sermon. The goal is that parents and kids will be learning the same things together so the will be able to talk about those things with one another at home throughout the week.

How will your team keep my kids safe?

Prior to the worship service, you will check in your kids at one of our check-in kiosks. Your family will be assigned a unique four-digit code. Kids will receive a name badge sticker with that unique code and a second tag will be given to you as the parent. The tag with the matching code will be required to you pick up your child after the service.

Where should I go when I arrive?

If it's your first time to The Fields, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.  Come right to the information table and a member of our team will help you find your way.  We'd love to give you a short tour and help you get a cup of coffee before the service.

What if my kids need me during the service?

If your kid needs you during the service, we will send you a text message calling you to come back to the Kids Ministry area.
