Call to Worship
Isaiah 45:22-25

Leader:  “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth!  For I am God, and there is no other.
All:  By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return:  ’To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’
Leader:  “Only in the Lord, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him.
All:  In the Lord all the offspring of Israel shall be justified and shall glory.”

Prayer of Adoration

All Praise To Him
Sovereign Grace Music

All praise to Him, the God of light
Who formed the mountains by His might
All praise to Him Who names the stars
That sing His fame in skies afar
All praise to Him Who reigns in love
Who guides the galaxies above
Yet bends to hear our every prayer
With sovereign pow'r and tender care

All praise to Him whose love is seen
In Christ the Son, the Servant King
Who left behind His glorious throne
To pay the ransom for His own
All praise to Him Who humbly came
To bear our sorrow, sin, and shame
Who lived to die, Who died to rise
The all-sufficient sacrifice

All praise to Him whose pow'r imparts
The love of God within our hearts
The Spirit of all truth and peace
The fount of joy and holiness
[To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise (Repeat)

Thy Mercy
By John Stoker and Sandra McCracken

Thy mercy, my God is the theme of my song
The joy of my heart and the boast of my tongue
Thy free grace alone from the first to the last
Has won my affections and bound my soul fast

Without Thy sweet mercy I could not live here
Sin would reduce me to utter despair
But through Thy free goodness, my spirits revive
And He that first made me still keeps me alive

Thy mercy is more than a match for my heart
Which wonders to feel its own hardness depart
Dissolved by Thy goodness, I fall to the ground
And week for the praise of the mercy I found   Hallelujah!

Great Father of mercies, Thy goodness I own
And the covenant love of Thy crucified Son
All praise to the Spirit whose whisper divine
Seals mercy and pardon and righteousness mine
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

In Tenderness
By W. Spencer Walton (1894); Arr. by Citizens

In tenderness He sought me; weary and sick with sin
And on His shoulders brought me back to His fold again
While angels in His presence sang; until the courts of heaven rang

Chorus: Oh oh oh, the love that sought me!
Oh oh oh, the blood that bought me!
Oh, the grace that brought me to the fold of God
Grace that brought me to the fold of God

He died for me while I was sinning needy and poor and blind
He whispered to assure me, ”I've found thee; thou art Mine"
I never heard a sweeter voice; it made my aching heart rejoice

Upon His grace I'll ponder and sing anew His praise
With all adoring wonder His blessings I retrace
It seems as if eternal days are far too short to sing His praise

Sermon Passage
Psalm 96

Psalm 6:1 TO THE CHOIRMASTER: WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS; ACCORDING TO THE SHEMINITH. A PSALM OF DAVID.
O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. 2 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled. 3 My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD- how long? 4 Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? 6 I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. 7 My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping. 9 The LORD has heard my plea; the LORD accepts my prayer. 10 All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment.

Leader:  The grass withers, the flower fades,
All:  but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Come, Ye Souls By Sin Afflicted
By Joseph Swain; Arr: Indelible Grace Music

Come, ye souls by sin afflicted
Bowed with fruitless sorrow down
By the broken law convicted
Through the cross behold the crown
Look to Jesus, look to Jesus
Look to Jesus, mercy flows through him alone

Take his easy yoke and wear it
Love will make obedience sweet
Christ will give you strength to bear it
While His wisdom guides your feet
Safe to glory, safe to glory
Safe to glory where his ransomed
captives meet

Blessed are the eyes that see Him
Blest the ears that hear His voice
Blessed are the souls that trust Him
And in Him alone rejoice
His commandments, His commandments
His commandments then become their happy choice

Sweet as home to pilgrim's weary
Light to newly opened eyes
Or full springs in deserts dreary
Is the rest the cross supplies
All who taste it, all who taste it
All who taste it shall to rest immortal rise

Look to Jesus, look to Jesus
Look to Jesus, mercy flows through
Him alone

Found In You
by Vertical Worship

We're reaching out to welcome You, God
Fill this place again with Your song
Flood our thoughts with wonder and awe
Give us a greater glimpse of a never changing God

Chorus:  All we want and all we need
Are found in You, found in You
Jesus, every victory
Is found in You, found in You

Open wide, our hearts now to Yours
Every fear, bowed down to Your love
That we would see like never before
Give us a greater glimpse of a never changing God

In Your presence there is freedom
In Your presence we are made whole
In Your presence there is freedom
In Your presence we are made whole

Benediction
† We invite you to stretch out your hands as you receive the Lord’s blessing.
