Call to Worship
Isaiah 55:1-3
Leader: Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live;
All: and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.

By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation’s grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God’s own hand
A place where peace and justice reign

There Is One Gospel

There is one Gospel on which I stand, for all eternity
It is my story, my Father’s plan, the Son has rescued me
Oh what a Gospel, Oh what a peace, my highest joy and my deepest need
Now and forever He is my light, I stand in the Gospel of Jesus
There is one Gospel to which I cling, all else I count as loss
For there, where justice and mercy meet, He saved me on the cross
No more I boast in what I can bring, No more I carry the weight of sin

There is one Gospel where hope is found, the empty tomb still speaks

Leader: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
All: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Leader: For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
All: the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Leader: Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
All: and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert." 4 If Edom says, "We are shattered but we will rebuild the ruins," the LORD of hosts says, "They may build, but I will tear down, and they will be called 'the wicked country,' and 'the people with whom the LORD is angry forever.'" 5 Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, "Great is the LORD beyond the border of Israel!”

it goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell
The wand'ring child is reconciled by God's beloved Son
