Call to Worship
Hebrews 10:19-23
Leader:Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,
All:by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
Leader:and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
All:let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Prayer of Adoration
Only A Holy God
by Michael Farren, Jonny Robinson, Dustin Smith, Rich Thompson
Who else commands all the hosts of heaven
Who else could make every king bow down
Who else can whisper and darkness trembles
Only a Holy God
What other beauty demands such praises
What other splendour outshines the sun
What other majesty rules with justice
Only a Holy God
Chorus: Come and behold Him, the One and the Only
Cry out, sing holy; Forever a Holy God
Come and worship the Holy God
Come and worship the Holy God
What other glory consumes like fire
What other power can raise the dead
What other name remains undefeated
Only a Holy God
Who else could rescue me from my failing
Who else would offer His only Son
Who else invites me to call Him Father
Only a Holy God
Only my Holy God
Come Thou Fount
Robert Robinson (1758); Alterer: Martin Madan (1760). Arr. Mercy Me
Come Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer,
Hither by Thy help I come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
O to grace how great a debtor,
Daily I'm constrained to be
Let Thy goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord I feel it;
Prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, Lord take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above
O that day when freed from sinning
I shall see Thy lovely face
Clothed then in my blood washed linen,
How I'll sing Thy sovereign grace
Come, my Lord, do not tarry,
Take my ransomed soul away
Send Thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless days
Confession of Sin
Proverbs 29:25; 18:10; 10:31; 21:21; 5:1-2
Leader: The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
All: (Silent prayer of confession)
Leader: The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.
All: (Silent prayer of confession)
Leader: The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off.
All: (Silent prayer of confession)
Leader: Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.
All: (Silent prayer of confession)
Leader: My son, be attentive to my wisdom; incline your ear to my understanding, that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge.
All: (Silent prayer of confession)
Assurance of Forgiveness
1 Peter 2:9-10
Leader: But you are a chosen race,
All: a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Leader: Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people;
All: once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Through the Pardon of Christ
by Jason Barrows
Forgiven and freed, restored to life
We are yours through the pardon of Christ.
Through the pardon of Christ, every saint shall come
To find the refuge, of your love
The word made flesh, our blessed Lord
Has called us as His own.
CHORUS:
Through the pardon of Christ
We are here at Your feet
Singing songs of salvation, victoriously
Forgiven and freed, restored to life
We are yours, through the pardon of Christ.
Though a sin and curse, our hands once chose
As desperation filled our souls
Upon your cross, our darkness slain
Redeemed in Jesus name! (Chorus)

Sermon Passage
Malachi 2:1-9
2:1 "And now, O priests, this command is for you. 2 If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the LORD of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings, and you shall be taken away with it. 4 So shall you know that I have sent this command to you, that my covenant with Levi may stand, says the LORD of hosts. 5 My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him. It was a covenant of fear, and he feared me. He stood in awe of my name. 6 True instruction was in his mouth, and no wrong was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many from iniquity. 7 For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. 8 But you have turned aside from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts, 9 and so I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you do not keep my ways but show partiality in your instruction."
Leader: The grass withers, the flower fades...
All: ...but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

There Is One Gospel
By: CityAlight
There is one Gospel on which I stand
for all eternity
It is my story, my Father’s plan,
the Son has rescued me
Oh what a Gospel, Oh what a peace,
my highest joy and my deepest need
Now and forever He is my light,
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus
There is one Gospel to which I cling,
all else I count as loss
For there, where justice and mercy meet,
He saved me on the cross
No more I boast in what I can bring,
No more I carry the weight of sin
For He has brought me from death to life,
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
There is one Gospel where hope is found,
the empty tomb still speaks
For death could not keep my Savior down,
He lives and I am free
Now on my Savior, I fix my eyes,
My life is His and His hope is mine!
For He has promised I, too, will rise,
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
And in this Gospel the church is one,
We do not walk alone
We have His Spirit as we press on
to lead us safely home
And when in glory still I will sing
of this old story that rescued me
Praise to my Saviour, the King of life
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Praise to my Saviour, the King of life
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Death Was Arrested
by: Adam Kersh, Brandon Coker, Heath Balltzglier, Paul Taylor.
Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin
Lost without hope with no place to begin
Your love made a way to let mercy come in
When death was arrested and my life began
Ash was redeemed, only beauty remains
My orphan heart was given a name
My mourning grew quiet, my feet rose to dance
When death was arrested and my life began
CHORUS:
Oh, Your grace, so free, washes over me
You have made me new, now life begins with You
It's Your endless love, pouring down on us
You have made us new, now life begins with You
Released from my chains, I'm a prisoner no more
My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore
He cancelled my debt and He called me His friend
When death was arrested and my life began (Chorus)
Our Savior displayed on a criminal's cross
Darkness rejoiced as though heaven had lost
But then Jesus arose with our freedom in hand
That's when death was arrested and my life began (Chorus)
BRIDGE:
Oh, we're free, free, forever we're free
Come join the song of all the redeemed
Yes, we're free, free, forever, amen
When death was arrested and my life began
Benediction
† We invite you to stretch out your hands as you receive the Lord’s blessing.
