Call to Worship
Psalm 96:1-4, 7-9
Leader: Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!
All: Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.
Leader: Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
All: For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.
Leader: Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!
All: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!
Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!
All Creatures Of Our God And King
By St. Francis of Assisi (1225); Translated by William H. Draper; Arr: David Crowder
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing
O praise Him, alleluia
Thou burning sun with golden beam
Thou silver moon with softer gleam
O praise Him, O praise Him, Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Let all things their Creator bless
And worship Him in humbleness
O praise Him, alleluia
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son
And praise the Spirit, three in One
O praise Him, O praise Him, Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
All the redeemed washed by His blood
Come and rejoice in His great love
O praise Him, alleluia
Christ has defeated every sin
Cast all your burdens now on Him
O praise Him, O praise Him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
He shall return in pow’r to reign
Heave and earth will join to say
O praise Him, alleluia
Then who shall fall on bended knee?
All creatures of our God and King
O praise Him, O praise Him
Alleluia, alleluia
The Day Of The Lord
By Wendell Kimbrough (2017)
It’s not long ’til the boastful are silenced and shamed
It’s not long ‘til the wealth of the wicked’s reclaimed
And the ones who have waited with eyes on the Lord
Will shine like the sun forevermore
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Just be still and be faithful and dwell in the land
Put your trust in the Savior and cling to His hand
When your heart burns with anger for all that is wrong
Do not let the dark steal your song
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Chorus: It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Everything that is broken will soon be restored
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Do not fear for the wicked with weapons of war
For the Lord is the shelter and strength of the poor
And our God comes with laughter, let Him be your joy
The power of the sword He’ll destroy
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Confession of Our Sin
Matthew 6:25-34
Leader: "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on.
All: Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Leader: Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
All: Are you not of more value than they?
Leader: And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
All: But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Leader: Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
All: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Silent Prayers of Confession
Assurance of Forgiveness
James 1:16-18
Leader: Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
All: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creation.
How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
©1995 Kingsway’s Thankyou Music. Words and Music by Stuart Townend
How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son, To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss, The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One, Bring many sons to glory
Behold the man upon the cross, My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice, Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there, Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life, I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything: No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ; His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart: His wounds have paid my ransom (Repeat)

Sermon Passage
Malachi 3:6-12
6 "For I the LORD do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. 7 From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts. But you say, 'How shall we return?' 8 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, 'How have we robbed you?' In your tithes and contributions. 9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. 10 Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. 11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. 12 Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.
Leader:The grass withers, the flower fades,
All:but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

Praise to the Lord, The Almighty
By: Joachim Neander (1680); Trans. by: Catherine Winkworth (1863); Arr: Nathan Drake (2021)
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation
O my soul, praise Him, for He is your health and salvation
All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near
Praise Him in glad adoration
Praise to the Lord, who o'er all things so wondrously reigneth
Shelters thee under His wings, Yea so gently sustaineth
Hast thou not seen how thy desires e’er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?
Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do
If with His love He befriend thee
Praise to the Lord! Oh, let all that is in me adore Him
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him
Let the amen sound from his people again
Gladly for aye we adore Him
The Lord’s Supper

All My Ways Are Known to You
CityAlight
In days of peace and days of rest
In times of loss and loneliness
Though rich or poor, Your word is true
That all my ways are known to You
No trial has come beyond Your hand
No step I walk beyond Your plan
The path is dark outside my view
Still all my ways are known to You
CHORUS:
And oh what peace that I have found wherever I may be
For all my ways are known to You Hallelujah, they are known to You!
I do not fear the final night
For death will be the door to life
You take my hand and lead me through
For all my ways are known to You
BRIDGE:
Open up my eyes so I may see
That You have made these ways for me
Open up my eyes so I may see
That You my God, will walk with me
Benediction
† We invite you to stretch out your hands as you receive the Lord’s blessing.
