Call to Worship
Isaiah 43:1, 5-7, 10-11
Leader: But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:
All: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
Leader: Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you.
All: I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."
Leader: "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.
All: I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior.
Come Behold (Psalm 46)
Thief to King
Come behold the wondrous works
Of the Lord Who reigns on high
Oh, be still and know that He is God
Our fortress He will be
God is our refuge and our strength, a very present aid
Therefore, although the earth gives way we will not be afraid
Though mountains move into the sea, though waters rage and foam
Although the hills may quake and fall, our hope is in the Lord
The nations rage and kingdoms move, their plotting is in vain
They all shall tremble at the voice of God above who reigns
Great desolation to the earth, He turns the wars to peace
He breaks the bow and shatters spear, all chariots to cease
All the glory to His name
O exalted He shall be
O be still and know that He is God
Our fortress He will be
Our fortress He will be
Our fortress He will be
The Day Of The Lord
By Wendell Kimbrough (2017)
It’s not long ’til the boastful are silenced and shamed
It’s not long ‘til the wealth of the wicked’s reclaimed
And the ones who have waited with eyes on the Lord
Will shine like the sun forevermore
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Just be still and be faithful and dwell in the land
Put your trust in the Savior and cling to His hand
When your heart burns with anger for all that is wrong
Do not let the dark steal your song
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
CHORUS:
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Everything that is broken will soon be restored
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Do not fear for the wicked with weapons of war
For the Lord is the shelter and strength of the poor
And our God comes with laughter, let Him be your joy
The power of the sword He’ll destroy
It’s not long ’til the Day of the Lord
Confession of Our Sin
Isaiah 43:22-26
Leader: "Yet you did not call upon me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of me, O Israel! You have not brought me your sheep for burnt offerings, or honored me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with offerings, or wearied you with frankincense. But you have burdened me with your sins; you have wearied me with your iniquities.
All: "I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.
Leader: Put me in remembrance; let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right.
Silent Prayers of Confession
Assurance of Forgiveness
Isaiah 44:1-5
Leader: "But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Thus says the LORD who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you:
All: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
Leader: They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams. This one will say, 'I am the LORD's,' another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, 'The LORD's,' and name himself by the name of Israel.”
Through the Pardon of Christ
by Jason Barrows
Forgiven and freed, restored to life
We are yours through the pardon of Christ.
Through the pardon of Christ, every saint shall come
To find the refuge, of your love
The word made flesh, our blessed Lord
Has called us as His own.
CHORUS:
Through the pardon of Christ
We are here at Your feet
Singing songs of salvation, victoriously
Forgiven and freed, restored to life
We are yours, through the pardon of Christ.
Though a sin and curse, our hands once chose
As desperation filled our souls
Upon your cross, our darkness slain
Redeemed in Jesus name! (Chorus)

Sermon Passage
Malachi 3:13-18
13 "Your words have been hard against me, says the LORD. But you say, 'How have we spoken against you?' 14 You have said, 'It is vain to serve God. What is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the LORD of hosts? 15 And now we call the arrogant blessed. Evildoers not only prosper but they put God to the test and they escape.'"
16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. 17 "They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. 18 Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.
Leader: The grass withers, the flower fades...
All: ...but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

Crown Him With Many Crowns
By Matthew Bridges (1851); Godfrey Thring (1871)
Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne
Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own
Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee
And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity
Crown Him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side
Rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight
But downward bends his burning eye at mysteries so bright
Crown Him the Lord of life who triumphed over the grave
Who rose victorious to the strife for those He came to save
His glories now we sing, who died and rose on high
Who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die
Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time
Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime
All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou has died for me
Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days, adored and magnified
The Lord’s Supper

Who Is Like The Lord (Psalm 113)
Sovereign Grace Music
Saints and servants, hosts of heaven
All creation, Praise the name of the Lord!
Night and morning, sing His glory, now and forevermore
Earthly kingdoms, all dominions
Bow before Him, Praise the name of the Lord!
None as holy, none as worthy, now and forevermore
CHORUS 1:
Crowned with adoration, He is high above the nations
Who is like the Lord our God? Who is like the Lord our God?
Our Lord Jesus wore our weakness
To redeem us, Praise the name of the Lord!
In His kindness He will keep us now and forevermore
CHORUS 2:
Crowned with adoration, He is high above the nations
Who is like the Lord our God?
Raised us from the ashes, He has turned our grief to gladness
Who is like the Lord our God? Who is like the Lord our God?
BRIDGE:
High and holy, meek and lowly, There is no one like You
Our Messiah, here beside us, There is no one like You
CHORUS 3:
Crowned with adoration, He is high above the nations
Who is like the Lord our God?
Raised us from the ashes, He has turned our grief to gladness
Who is like the Lord our God? Who is like the Lord our God?
There is no one like our God! There is no one like our God!
Benediction
† We invite you to stretch out your hands as you receive the Lord’s blessing.
